Creating and Using Profiles

This portion of the Tour shows how to create and use a Profile.

Profiles
are easy to create and use.   Notice that when we begin this part of
the tour, there is already one Profile in the Profile Manager.  We are going to
create and add a new one to our collection of Ballard Profiles.

( For brief explaination of Profiles, click here on What is a Profile? )

We start by using the Lookup menu to locate all of the Ballard accounts:

Then we select the accounts, account types or assets we would like included in the new Profile.  Remember, items that
you select will provide a template to the Profile Wizard in identifying new assets and accounts for inclusion as "candidates"
for the Profile when you next run it.  Notice that we have selected just a few assets, all Joint Account assets for John and
Jane Ballard.

Then, go to the Report Gallery and run the Consolidated Client Statement.  We can create a custom cover page as below
for use with this Profile from now on.

Next, we're asked if we wish to create a Profile with the Selected
data and Cover page:

And below, we're prompted for a name a description for the new Profile.

We're notified that we have successfully created a profile, and the resulting
report is displayed in the normal report window.

Notice that the new Profile is now available in the grid on the Profile Manager's tab.

That's all there is to adding and using a Profile!
